The Clinical Manager oversees, supervises and manages faculty and students assigned to clinical sites, makes phone or on-site visits, mediates conflicts, establishes specific learning objectives, records attendance and supervises clinical affiliations to ensure that the expertise is adequate and achieves a satisfactory level of performance. Provides professional leadership and support for clinical teaching faculty; serves as a mentor and facilitator for faculty assigned; and enables an environment which fosters creativity, responsiveness, and self-responsibility. Ensures students are current on vaccinations, assigns clinical sites and records attendance. Coordinates and assigns students to clinical sites for the program. Maintains records and ensures compliance with the college and Surgical Technology program policies and procedures. Participates in school activities such as student functions, graduation exercises, open houses, new student orientations, and advisory board meetings.

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Collects and maintains appropriate documentation related to clinical education, such as health forms, CPR certification, student evaluations and site evaluations.
  • Plans and coordinates faculty and students' clinical site orientations and Live Scan appointments.
  • Plans, coordinates, and manages faculty and students' assignments to clinical facilities.
  • Identifies clinical sites which support the student clinical requirements.
  • Maintains accurate clinical site information database, including contact information and specific contractual agreement termination and expiration dates.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Ability to demonstrate bilingual skills is a plus but not required.

Required Education, Certifications, and Licensures

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited academic institution.
  • Certification and registration in Nuclear Medicine Technology from a national certification board.
  • CPR Certification.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of two (2) years post‐certification nuclear medicine technology experience.

CA Salary Range

USD $110,256.35 - USD $159,866.30 /Yr.
